A Street Team is crucial to a band's success. By word of mouth, interest in the band is multiplied. Street Team members help support the band in many ways such as:
- Telling friends about shows, inviting them to shows, and asking them to tell their friends about the band.
- Sending people to the band website and asking them to join the mailing list.
- Sending people to the band's MySpace Page and asking them to send a friend request.
- Posting comments about the band in forums, chat rooms, dating websites, and anywhere people may be exposed to the band.
- Calling the radio stations to request songs when the band releases a single in order to boost it up the charts.
Street Team Members are rewarded for their help by receiving preferred seating at venues, free tickets to certain shows, early admission at certain venues, and may also receive free merchandise. Street Team Members can also view pages on the band website not accessible to normal members or visitors.
